PS1 does not have a capital campaign at this time
To support the school today, the Annual Fund and the Founders Fund are the two places to look.
What the community built
From 2002 to 2013, PS1 families and friends contributed tax-deductible dollars through the One Campus, One Community campaign to bring the campus into the twenty-first century.
Their gifts made possible the Field of Dreams, the aftercare space, two new classrooms, a multi-purpose activity center with an indoor basketball court and a stage for children's performances, purpose-built facilities for music, art, and the library, administrative offices, and a complete renovation of the Euclid Street play space.
Students no longer walk to Memorial Park for PE. There is no need to cross Euclid for art or music. Children can create in the art or music room during recess. All of that happened because the community came together, and we remain grateful for it.
