Leslie Rayos

Leslie grew up in Los Angeles and studied at UCLA, where she became enamored by travel, cultures, and education. After completing a Bachelor's degree in History and Education Studies, Leslie worked as a teaching assistant in independent and charter elementary schools, and later with tutors and school districts throughout California to improve student performance amongst low income communities. Leslie then joined the Lennox School District, where she supported their largest elementary school as the site's head secretary. There, she found her true strengths lay in management and administration. After years of working in various elementary settings, Leslie aspired to be part of a community that not only valued her strengths, but also her innate desires for individual growth, creative thinking, and a more empathetic society. Outside of work, you can find Leslie planning her next trip, watching scary movies, basking in the quiet of Joshua Tree, or letting her inner child play at Disneyland.
