McKendree Yeager
Program Administrator and K-2 Math Coordinator
McKendree grew up on the East Coast, living in Charlotte, North Carolina as well as Virginia Beach, Virginia. She earned her degree in Early Childhood Education at East Carolina University, and additionally holds Elementary Education teaching credentials. She was recently inspired to pursue her Master's Degree in Mathematics Education which she earned through her Alma Mater. She has also continued her professional growth through coursework at Columbia Teachers College, UCLA Math Lab, the IB program, and National Geographic for Educators. She is thrilled to start her tenth year at PS1. McKendree has embraced life on the West Coast taking full advantage of all it has to offer by traveling and exploring. She enjoys camping with her husband and their dog, watching movies, going for a run (or, in other words, being dragged around the neighborhood by her dog), and getting lost in a good book.
