Pedro Ortega
PE Specialist
Pedro is entering his twenty-fifth school year as the Physical Education Specialist at PS1. He attended Cal State Fullerton on a soccer scholarship for four years. He then transferred and graduated from Cal State Dominguez Hills with Summa Cum Laude high honors and a B.S. in Physical Education with the Option to Teach. His intense course of study prepared him as a dynamic professional in Physical Education trained to educate students with the most current and up to date educational practices. Pedro is the youngest out of four brothers. He met his wife Eva in 2006 at PS1 and they got married in October 2018. They have four children together; three are PS1 Alumni. During the time away from school, Pedro loves visiting his family in Las Vegas, camping, attending sports events and trying new adventures. He now resides in Panorama City and makes the daily commute to his second home called PS1.
