Billy Huynh
Teacher
Billy is beginning his twenty-first year at PS1 Pluralistic School. Prior to joining the PS1 faculty, he taught for eight years at local independent/private schools. Billy received his BA in History from UCLA and his Master's degree in Elementary Education from Loyola Marymount University. He enjoys the outdoors, particularly cycling, camping, and fishing. He is an avid reader and loves traveling to scenic destinations. Billy was able to volunteer to teach at schools in Nepal and the Philippines, which were enriching experiences for him. He encourages his students to participate in service learning by connecting with the community. Billy delights in eating homemade artisan ice cream, drinking delectable coffee, watching the Tour de France & Spring Classics, and going on long walks with his wife, Rose.
