Milica Bison

Milica believes that the purpose of education is to prepare students to lead choice-filled lives with respect for other humans and care for the cultures, traditions, and natural resources of our world. Her love for education has taken her through many incredible experiences, including leading outdoor education programs, teaching pre-k literacy, founding an elementary school Spanish program, teaching 4th grade. Most recently, she has loved being a Middles teacher here at PS1 for the past two years. Milica completed her B.A. in Spanish at Kenyon College and then her M.A. in Education at The Ohio State University. She has enjoyed living in Los Angeles for the past six years and loves hiking, cooking, playing music, and reading.
