Meghan Brtnik

Meghan graduated from the University of Western Ontario in Ontario, Canada, completing her Bachelor of Arts in Honors Psychology. She earned her Master's of Education at York University in Toronto. Meghan worked and lived at an all-girls boarding school and assisted at a Montessori school. In 2013, Meghan moved to Chicago and taught for seven years in a K/1 classroom at a Quaker school. At the Friends school, Meghan focused on academics and building strong character and community. This year is Meghan's fifth year teaching in the Youngers classroom. Meghan lives in downtown Santa Monica with her husband, baby, and cat, Waffle. In her free time, Meghan enjoys traveling, going to the beach, all things avocado, exploring nature, and taking long walks in the neighborhood.
