Bonnie Koo
Teacher
Bonnie graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Education. She is entering her eighteenth year as a teacher at PS1 and her twentieth year of teaching overall. Before working at PS1, Bonnie worked as a first-grade teacher in New York City, a kindergarten teacher in Dalian, China, and a third-grade teacher at Yew Chung International School in Beijing, China. Bonnie spent the summer relaxing with family at the beach and traveled to Vancouver, Canada, to see her family. When not teaching, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, trying new restaurants, and baking bread. She spends most weekends at the soccer field cheering on her two sons, Benji and Brandon.
