Holly Frazier
Teacher
Holly is beginning her eighteenth year in the Olders cluster at PS1. She has spent the majority of her career in the middle school grades, and she cherishes the combination of enthusiasm, critical thinking, and growth of independence that is characteristic of students at this age. When not at work, Holly loves to spend time outdoors with loved ones, especially in the mountains, hiking, swimming, camping, and snowboarding, or just feeling the trees tower over her. She prides herself as an explorer, and has traveled the world and visited many cities and countries, calling many of them home. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Holly has lived in Australia, England, Costa Rica, international waters, and now she lives in Hawthorne with her husband, Judd, and ten-year-old Annabelle (Annie). Here, she can often be found in her garden tending to veggies and turning her compost, riding a bike, or scaling walls at the climbing gym. Holly is excited to continue to partner with John this year, and she is looking forward to uncovering all the knowledge, talents, and experiences their students will bring to the classroom.
